Estamos num momento político importante em que se discute a revisão da lei de direitos autorais (Lei 9610/98) que protege os autores de obras literárias, artísticas ou científicas. Propõe-se uma lei mais democrática, que equilibre proteção do autor com o direito da sociedade de acesso à cultura e ao conhecimento.
Nessa segunda-feira, 19/7, no Tucarena, em São Paulo, acontecerá o seminário Direitos autorais: um debate com toda a sociedade. Ele abordará vários aspectos dessa reforma e a relação dos direitos autorais com a produção artística, o direito à educação, a defesa do consumidor e a cultura digital. O seminário terá a presença do Ministro da Cultura Juca Ferreira e é grátis.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
