I Festival de Curtas do Cine Acorde!
Ontem aconteceu o I Festival de Curtas do Cine Acorde e Cine-Clube Socioambiental, na Sala Crisantempo. Antes de tudo, parabéns aos vencedores e muito obrigado a todos que vieram, lotaram a sala, conversaram com os diretores e ficaram depois para conversar mais e ouvir música.
Elegemos 3 curtas vencedores do festival. Em terceiro lugar veio a animação Evillution, de Arthur Lobo Soares, que questiona se o processo pelo qual a humanidade vem passando é realmente uma evolução, e para onde ela está nos levando (ou para onde estamos deixando ela nos levar, e se queremos ser levados nesta direção).
A Quadra, de Valter Nu, levou o segundo prêmio. O curta conta da vida da população que mora às margens da represa Billings, no bairro Jardim Prainha, no extremo sul da cidade de São Paulo. Fica claro que os moradores se sentem mal pela ilegalidade da situação deles e pelo fato de serem considerados invasores, mas, ao mesmo tempo, todos se sentem injustiçados já que a comunidade nasceu porque alguém permitiu a entrada deles lá.
O grande vencedor foi De Olho Na Água, de João França, que apresenta soluções simples, baratas e provocadoras para problemas sérios de saneamento básico, a falta de água e escoamento do esgoto, e mostra a implementação dessas soluções na cidade de Icapuí, no Ceará. O curta também é quase uma cartilha de como construir essas soluções, além de mostrar que não são necessários investimentos milionários nem grandes obras, e que cada um pode fazer sua parte para resolver os problemas do mundo, direto do próprio quintal.
“Um incentivo à transformação e à desobediência” foi uma frase que o diretor usou para definir o De Olho Na Água, uma ideia muito interessante, já que desobediência e transformação são duas coisas muito importantes e relacionadas. Antes de transformarmos algo, precisamos ver o que há de errado, o que podemos melhorar e então desobedecer, ir contra as coisas que não achamos certas e lutar para mudá-las. Vamos todos então desobedecer e transformar o mundo à nossa volta em um lugar melhor para se viver!

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
